Core Moto Wins Bes Exhibiting Booth of the 2014 AIMExpo.
Core Moto, Novik Gloves, ADT/Motoped, National Moto and Cycle Recognized
AIMExpo introduced a new tradition at the 2014 show with the first
ever booth awards, recognizing four of the 500-plus exhibitors for their
efforts. In the end, Core Moto and Novik Gloves were the recipients of
awards for returning exhibitors while APT/Motoped and National Moto +
Cycle were given Rookie of the Year honors.
All the exhibitors were initially divided into a pair of categories
for returning companies and new participants, from which a pair of
awards would be given to each based on booth size over 400 square feet
and under 400 square feet. Judging criteria was based on several
factors, including booth design, branding, creativity, interactive
experience, social media efforts, staffing and overall appeal.
Additionally, judges were hand selected from AIMExpo staff and included
both event spokesperson Cristy Lee and AIMExpo emcee Greg White.
Core Moto received the award for Best Returning Exhibitor Booth Over
400 Square Feet thanks to its visually appealing design that combined a
brushed metal look with strategic lighting that made it feel like one
had stepped into a store. Adding to the aesthetic of the booth was the
fact it was handmade by owner Luke McCraken specifically for AIMExpo.
The man-hours put into building the booth combined with its look made it
a popular choice among the judges.
Based on the efforts we had seen from our exhibitors with their
booth spaces during the inaugural event, we wanted to introduce an
awards initiative to not only recognize the exhibitors that went all out
in their involvement but also generate some friendly competition
amongst them as well, said Larry Little, Vice President and General
Manager of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. We appreciate their
investment in what we are accomplishing at AIMExpo and this is a way to
give them the recognition they deserve for providing a great experience
for everyone that attends the show.
