Facts about Core Moto Wheel Cross Fitment.
A lot of misinformation is put out about cross compatibility of our wheels, here are the facts from the source.
Please read this completely and understand that we have posted this
in effort to protect customers from false information and possibly save
them from major headaches.
Sellers of used wheels are known to give overly optimistic information about possible cross fitment. Buyers are inclined to believe them when the deal seems great.
We are not responsible for false information provided by third parties.

Yes, Core Moto wheels are the most cross compatible superbike wheels on the market, but they are not universally cross compatible.
There are limitations we will detail below.
What determines IF a Core Moto wheel set can be converted from one bike to the other is the base Wheel Body.
The base wheel body is the main structure of the wheel... the wheel itself. If the wheel bodies are the same, then the wheel can be
converted to fit another bike that uses the same base wheel bodies.
Conversions will require new external components.
Customers often say "I was told I just need new spacers or bearings"
in most cases, more than just spacers are required.
Sometimes its only a few parts... Sometimes all new parts are required.
The price range can be between $44- $800.
All parts are usually in stock.
As of 10-22-25 Core Moto has 5 different wheel bodies.
2 Rear bodies
RW55LM1 = 17 x 5.5"
RW6LM1 = 17 x 6"
3 Front wheel Bodies.
FW35LM1 = 17 x 3.5" ( 5 bolt carrier mount )
FW35LM2 = 17 x 3.5" ( 6 bolt carrier mount )
FW35LM3 = 17 x 3.5 ( 6 bolt carrier mount )
Since our 6" rear wheel fits all 6" applications, and our 5.5" rear fits all 5.5" applications, the front wheel required for your application is the
main factor in determining cross fitment in most cases.
5.5" rear wheels will not fit any bikes that require a 6" rear wheel.
However for a few models that have a factory 5.5" rear wheel, we do offer 6" rear wheel conversions.
While each of our front wheel models listed above look the same, there are dimensional differences in the central hub that make them
not cross compatible. A few models have further modifications that impact cross fitment...detailed below.
Core Moto wheels are Monolithic.... meaning that the "Hub" is part of the wheel body. The Hub is not a bolt on component for Core Moto wheels.
What does bolt on are the ROTOR CARRIERS. The rotor carriers for a specific wheel body have the same inner bolt pattern where they mount to the wheel
but have different bolt patterns and offsets, per application where the OEM rotor mounts to the carrier. The can be considered Rotor Adapters.
In most cases external parts such as Rotor Carriers and Spacers need to be changed to convert a Core Moto wheel set to another bike.
All applications ( except RSV4/ tuono) use the same internal components. So no bearings need to be changed to convert from one bike to another.
Axle size does not matter, the bearing ID is reduced with provided spacers.

Front: 2 units B6205
Rear: 3 units B6006 ( includes sprocket carrier bearing)
RSV4/Tuono only
Front: 1 unit B6205 / 1 Unit B60/28
Rear: 3 units B6006 ( includes sprocket carrier bearing)

Yes,
they could be later converted to fit newer bikes that use FW35LM1, but
there will be a visible gap between the carrier and wheel body hub
when new carriers are installed.

This models are not cross compatible with other bikes. A shim and longer bolts could be installed under the rotor carrier to make them
Cross compatible, But we do not make a shim or offer longer bolts for this.

Every conversion from one bike to another is different, there is no base price. We can not provide a Cross reference guide for every conversion possible.
Once you have confirmed it is possible to convert your wheel bodies to another application. Contact [email protected]
Tell us the exact Make / Year / Model of the bike you want to convert your wheels to.
We can then provide you with a parts list for that assembly.
Print the Parts list.
Compare to the parts you have on your current set to what is required for the new application.
Check off all the part numbers you will need.
Go to our replacement parts section to purchase each part required.
We want to offer support. Unfortunately, when a used wheel set is listed on Ebay or Marketplace, we get flooded with calls from customers asking for quotes to convert.
Sometimes a single listing will result in hundreds of calls to us and it is overwhelming. It can not be our responsibility to verify fitment and quotes for used wheels that a customer is thinking about buying.
