Description

Use the images below to choose the options needed for your race set up.

The 3T-E front line set up was first used by Core Moto on Moto America Superbikes for a cleaner routing by creating a bridge line between the left and right caliper lines. allowing clearance for shrouds and lift stands. This allows the left and right lines to be equal length and keeps the assembly from hanging below the lower triple clamp.

All Core Moto 3T-E systems are intended to route as described below.

L1: From the master cylinder to the front of the right fork tube. Straight down the fork tube to the T fitting at the area where the lower triple clamps to the right fork leg.

L2: Straight down from the T fitting, around the OUTSIDE of the right fork, back to the right STAUBLI disconnect.
NOTE: This area is where you account for enough slack to make up for suspension travel, yet not so much it snags when suspension is fully compressed and/or steering turned lock to lock.

L3: Straight down from the 90 Degree ELBOW fitting, around the OUTSIDE of the Left fork, back to the Left Staubli disconnect.
NOTE: This area is where you account for enough slack to make up for suspension travel, yet not so much it snags when suspension is fully compressed and/or steering turned lock to lock.

L4: The Bridge line spans between the T and Elbow fitting. Typically the "T & E" fittings will rest in front of the right and left forks respectively. This kit works best when left side of the bridge line is mounted directly to the left side of the triple clamp. this can be done with zip ties or drilling and tapping the clamp to mount a P clip.

A: Genuine Staubli brand quick disconnects: When used in a brake line application, a plug and socket pair inline can be disconnected and re connected without the need to bleed the system. The area Labeled A is non flexible, you must account for this rigid section in your build as it will not flex. Be sure to account for enough lower and upper lines to accommodate this rigid section.

If you choose the option ( DO NOT INCLUDE STAUBLI UNITS ) your kit will not include any disconnects. The threaded fitting is 3/8-24 with a 37 degree JIC concave taper designed to work with our genuine Staubli disconnects. It is your responsibility to ensure your disconnects work with this fitting type. No returns are accepted.

L5 & L6: From the Staubli units to the left and right calipers outboard of the forks. Due to assembly limitations there is a minimum possible assembly length. See diagram for details. We can not make these sections any shorter.

When measuring to fit your bike, we suggest using coaxial cable or something of similar rigidity as it will best replicate a stainless braided brake hose. Use zip ties to hold the coaxial cable in place anywhere you will mount the brake line while dry measuring your bike.

For customer ease, we will assume measurements are to end fitting tips...not centers.

Take your time and keep reworking your measure until you have it dialed in. We can not make lines longer if they are too short.
We do not accept returns on brake lines.

We cut and assemble as accurately as possible. However, In general there is an average 1/4" margin of error for all finished lines due to expansion during the crimping process of about 1/8" per end fitting. Sometimes the expansion is present, sometimes it is not. We do not guarantee less than 1/2" margin of error on overall length of any one line.
